Cosmobet Cookie Notice
A clear breakdown of every cookie Cosmobet uses, what category it sits in, how long it lives and how to change your consent at any moment from the banner or your browser.
Change consent now: reopen the cookie banner from the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer of every page, or toggle individual categories from your browser's cookie settings. Changes apply on the next page load.
The three categories Cosmobet uses
Cosmobet groups every cookie into one of three buckets: strictly necessary, analytics and marketing. The strictly necessary bucket covers cookies the site cannot function without: your login session, the CSRF token, your selected currency and your responsible-gambling preferences. These load automatically because UK ePrivacy law allows them to do so without prior consent, and disabling them would break sign-in, deposits and withdrawals outright.
Analytics cookies help us understand how the site is used at an aggregated, anonymised level. The setup is Google Analytics 4 with IP anonymisation and advertising features disabled, plus a small set of first-party performance cookies that measure page load time, JavaScript errors and conversion paths. These load only after you accept them in the consent banner, do not identify you personally and never feed any sale or sharing of data with third parties.
Marketing cookies let Cosmobet and its advertising partners measure campaign effectiveness and show more relevant promotions on third-party platforms. They include the Meta pixel, Microsoft Advertising UET tag and a handful of affiliate tracking cookies that credit the partner who referred you. These cookies load only after explicit consent and can be revoked at any time from the cookie banner footer link.
What a cookie actually is
A cookie is a small text file that a website saves on your device to remember information between visits. Cookies do not run code, install software or read other files on your device. Most modern websites use them for unobjectionable things such as keeping you logged in, remembering language preference or measuring which pages are popular so the site can be improved. Cosmobet uses cookies for the same reasons, and nothing more.
How long each cookie lives
Session cookies are deleted automatically when you close your browser. Persistent cookies stay on your device for a defined period that varies by purpose. Strictly necessary login cookies are kept for the length of your session plus a short refresh window. The Cosmobet cookie consent record itself is kept for twelve months so you are not asked again on every visit. Analytics cookies last between 24 hours and 26 months depending on the tool, with Google Analytics 4 defaults applied. Marketing cookies are typically kept between 30 and 90 days depending on the partner. No Cosmobet cookie is set to last longer than two years.
Managing cookies from the browser
Beyond the in-product banner, every major browser lets you view stored cookies, block third-party cookies, set the site to forget you on close and clear all cookies on demand. Specific instructions are available for Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Safari and Microsoft Edge. Blocking all cookies including the strictly necessary bucket will stop you from logging in to Cosmobet.
Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track
Cosmobet honours Global Privacy Control signals where they are present. If your browser sends a GPC header, our consent system treats it as a refusal of analytics and marketing cookies and behaves as if you had opted out from the banner. We do not currently respond to the older Do Not Track header because the standard was never finalised and is no longer consistently respected across the web; GPC is its modern replacement.
Third-party cookies and embedded content
Some pages embed third-party content, for example a YouTube video in a slot review or a Twitter feed inside a tournament page. Those third parties may set their own cookies under their own privacy policies, which Cosmobet does not control. We minimise this by using privacy-enhanced embeds wherever the provider supports them and by loading embeds only after you accept marketing cookies.
Changes to this notice
If we add, remove or materially change the cookies we use, this page is updated and the "Last updated" date below moves. For significant changes (a new analytics provider, for instance) the cookie banner is re-prompted so you can review your choices.
